Bonita Bulchandani is a designer with over three decades of experience in fashion, with a career that includes working closely with leading international fashion houses.
Her work is guided by the belief that true luxury lies in precision. Drawing inspiration from art, music, architecture, and her travels, she approaches design with a disciplined eye - where silhouette, proportion, fit, and finish are given equal importance to embroidery and detail.

In the heart of South Mumbai, the Ancora atelier brings together skilled embroiderers and tailors, where precision shapes every garment. Embroidery and tailoring are developed in parallel, guided by proportion, structure, and exact finish.
Collections are produced in limited quantities and small, controlled batches to reduce waste and uphold global standards. Rooted in handcraft, production remains inherently low-impact, with limited power use and minimal chemical emissions.
Embroidery materials are globally sourced in accordance with REACH standards. All garments are produced in an SA8000-certified facility, ensuring ethical manufacturing, fair wages, regulated hours, and safe working conditions.
